Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to all orders placed by Customers through the Gujarat Delivery Service ("GDS") app and website.
1. Cancelling an Order
Free cancellation: You may cancel your order free of charge at any time before the Restaurant Partner accepts the order. If you cancel within this window and paid online, a full refund will be initiated automatically (see our Refund Policy).
After restaurant acceptance: Once a Restaurant Partner has accepted your order, preparation typically begins immediately. Orders cannot be cancelled once accepted by the restaurant. This is to avoid food wastage and unnecessary loss to Restaurant Partners who have already begun preparing your order.
2. How to Cancel
You can cancel an eligible order directly from the "My Orders" section of the app, before the order status changes to "Accepted" / "Preparing". Once the cancel option is no longer available in the app, the order can no longer be cancelled.
3. Cancellations by GDS or the Restaurant Partner
GDS or the Restaurant Partner may cancel an order in situations such as:
The restaurant is unable to fulfil the order (item unavailable, kitchen closed, technical issue)
The delivery address falls outside the current serviceable area
Suspected fraudulent or abusive activity on the order/account
Force majeure events (extreme weather, strikes, local law & order issues, etc.)
In such cases, if you have already paid online, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method as per our Refund Policy. No cancellation fee applies to you in these situations.
4. Repeated Cancellations
GDS reserves the right to restrict or suspend the ordering privileges of Customers who repeatedly cancel orders after restaurant acceptance is attempted, or who misuse the free-cancellation window, as this causes losses to Restaurant Partners and Delivery Partners.
