This Privacy Policy applies to individuals ("Delivery Partner", "you") who register on the Gujarat Delivery Service ("GDS", "we", "us", "our") Delivery Partner app to deliver orders on the Platform.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Registration & verification information
Full name, mobile number, and address
Government ID proof (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, Driving Licence) for identity and eligibility verification
Vehicle details and vehicle documents (RC, insurance), where applicable
Bank account details, for processing your payouts
1.2 Location data
We collect your live location while you are online/on-duty on the app. This is essential to assign nearby orders, provide navigation, calculate delivery distance, and share your live location with the Customer for order tracking during an active delivery.
1.3 Device & usage information
Device ID, device model, OS version, and in-app activity (orders accepted/completed, time online, app usage patterns) for operational and security purposes.
1.4 Performance data
Delivery times, order completion rates, ratings, and customer feedback related to your deliveries.
2. How We Use Your Information
To verify your identity and eligibility to work as a Delivery Partner
To assign and route delivery orders to you
To calculate and process your daily payouts
To provide support and resolve disputes
To monitor service quality and ensure platform safety
To comply with applicable legal and tax obligations
3. Sharing of Information
With Customers, we share your name, photo (if provided), and live location during an active delivery, along with your contact number, so they can reach you for delivery-related coordination.
With Restaurant Partners, we share basic identification details for pickup verification.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We may share information with law enforcement or regulatory authorities where legally required.
4. Payouts & Financial Data
Your bank account details are used solely for processing daily payouts and are handled with reasonable security safeguards. GDS does not sell or share your financial details with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as you are an active Delivery Partner and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with tax, legal, and dispute-resolution requirements.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements) by contacting us using the details in Section 8.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules made thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. Continued use of the Delivery Partner app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
