This Privacy Policy applies to restaurants and food businesses ("Restaurant Partner", "you") registered on the Gujarat Delivery Service ("GDS", "we", "us", "our") Vendor Panel / Vendor App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Business & registration information
Restaurant/business name, address, and contact details
Owner/authorised signatory name and contact number
Business registration and tax documents (e.g., GST/Udyam registration, FSSAI licence), where provided for onboarding verification
Bank account details, for processing payouts
1.2 Menu & operational information
Menu items, pricing, images, and availability
Order history, preparation times, and acceptance/rejection rates
1.3 Usage information
Vendor Panel login activity, device information, and usage patterns, used for support and platform improvement.
2. How We Use Your Information
To list your restaurant and menu on the Customer-facing Platform
To route orders to you and process order acceptance/preparation status
To calculate and process your weekly payouts
To provide support, handle disputes, and share performance insights (e.g., order volume, ratings)
To comply with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
3. Sharing of Information
With Customers, we share your restaurant name, menu, ratings, and estimated preparation time.
With Delivery Partners, we share your restaurant's pickup address and contact details for order collection.
We do not sell your business or financial information to third parties.
Information may be shared with regulatory or tax authorities where legally required.
4. Payouts & Financial Data
Your bank account details are used solely for processing weekly payouts, made directly by GDS via bank transfer or cash, outside of the Razorpay gateway used for customer payments. This data is handled with reasonable security safeguards and is not shared for marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your business data for as long as your Restaurant Partner account is active, and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with tax, accounting, and legal requirements.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your business data (subject to legal/tax retention requirements) via the Vendor Panel or by contacting us.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, applicable rules thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. No system is completely secure, and absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Vendor Panel after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
